The day I met Kristen Stewart

When I found out that Kristen was going to be on Live! with Kelly on May 31, I was super excited to try to get into the show again. The first time was a huge success, so I was hoping luck would be on my side again. The typical 3 hour bus ride from my home to NYC took 5 hours due to a huge traffic jam. The ride was miserable, but once I got to my destination (aka my friend Lynsey's apartment) and had something to eat, I was feeling much better. Lynsey and I only got about 2-3 hours of sleep before heading out to ABC Studios and were ecstatic to be the first ones in line. Time flew by and suddenly we were inside the studio being seated. While we weren't sure the seats were the greatest (they were all the way on the side of the studio), we were really just happy to be in. And in a whirlwind experience, I ended up meeting Kristen after her segment filmed. It's one of those amazing, I-can't-believe-this-is-happening-right-now, OMG kinda moments that seem to go in slow motion and at lightning speed all at the same time. All I can say is that Kristen is so nice and easy to talk to. During our quick chat, I told her that I help run her bodyguard's fan page, to which she replied "Oh, yeah? I like that!" and was more than happy to take a picture with me. With my birthday a week away, that was one of the best presents I could have gotten! So, thanks Kristen for making my day :) Missing my bus back home was totally worth it!

We spotted HBG right away! He was scoping out the studio... so bodyguard-ish!

She loves her fans!

Christian Louboutins and backwards necklace. So Kristen.

This week last year... 3/12/11-3/17/11

I have to admit that I had no idea what to expect when my friends and I decided to take a trip to Vancouver to try to see filming of Breaking Dawn, but it turned out to be one crazy adventure!

Here are some highlights from Canada... eh? :)

The first stop we made once getting to Canada was to Bella's house! We definitely screamed a bit when we found the house :)

We took a tour of places where New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn were filmed.
I loved seeing the movie theater, getting to go into "Forks High School," see the area in the woods where Edward broke up with Bella in NM, and being able to spend time outside Jacob's house!

We spent a LONG and FREEZING day outside of the Orpheum Theater waiting to get a glimpse of Rob. Well, we didn't see him... but we were (deliriously) excited to see his car and driver, lol

Walking around Gastown was super fun

We headed up to Squamish with new friends and in a shiny silver (rented) Volvo!

It was gorgeous outside of the lodge we were hanging out/dining in!

Our fabulous (and creative) group of gals got to see and meet a bunch of the actors who were in the area filming the wedding scene in Breaking Dawn Part 1

Love me some P. Fach! And of course we had to get a pic with Chief Swan :)

On our last day in Canada, we headed over to see the Olympic torch in downtown Vancouver
before heading back home to the States.
Thanks for a fun and memorable trip, Canada!

On this day last year... 3/11/11

What a crazy day this was! It started out with an early morning phone call from home warning of a possible tsunami, and ended with a fun trip to Forks, WA...

We took a ferry ride from Seattle across the Puget Sound, through cute little towns (like Sequim!), on long and winding roads, past beautiful views of mountains, lakes, and woods...

... until we reached our destination!

After a great day touring Forks and La Push, we were able to sleep soundly in our "Edward" room :)

On this day last year... 3/10/11

A year ago today, I was on a plane out to Seattle to begin a week-long Pacific Northwest vacation.

Having never been to this area of the country, I was excited to see all I could!
